Van Build 1.0

In May 2019, we bought a Mercedes Sprinter panel van. Over the next 6 months we converted her into our tiny home on wheels, complete with a full size bed, kitchen and seating area. We blogged and filmed our entire build series, both as a way to document our journey and to provide useful tips and inspiration for those looking to start their own van build. Van Build Series: Week 14 - Installing the Mobile Wifi

It was an exciting week as we finished the roof and ceiling! We decided to clad the ceiling and paint it a walnut stain, which we thought would contrast nicely with the white walls. We also installed our mobile wifi unit, which should give us a stable internet connection in the van. This is an essential part of our home office and we hope it works as well as think it will! The unit boosts any 4G signal it receives, which is then connected to a small pocket wifi device that should provide us with fast, stable internet. It feels amazing to get the roof and ceiling finished and we can really start to see our home on wheels coming together.
